Our annual all-Mozart concert features the graceful and lyrical Concerto for Two Pianos, a brilliant masterpiece rarely heard in concert, with Eugene's dynamic husband-and-wife piano duo, Dean Kramer and Claire Wachter. The Adagio and Fugue in C minor is a darkly dramatic work that showcases Mozart's mastery of Baroque counterpoint. The concert concludes with Mozart's Symphony No. 36, a confidently melodic work that features the stylistic novelty of using both trumpets and timpani in its second movement.
